Bio

Sani M. Abdullahi is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Southern Denmark (SDU). His current research focuses on the security and privacy of Digital Twins. Sani's work encompasses a wide range of information security areas, including biometric template protection, digital forensics, and multimedia watermarking.

Prior to joining SDU, he was a postdoctoral researcher at China Three Gorges University, Yichang, China. He also served as a network engineer with Sichuan Waizhimaoyuan IT/Edu Consulting Firm, Chengdu, China. Sani received his MSc in Advanced Computer Science from the University of Manchester, U.K., in 2013, and his PhD in Information Security from Southwest Jiaotong University, Chengdu, China, in 2019. He has published notable works in several reputable journals, including Information Fusion, IEEE Transactions on Information Forensics and Security, IEEE Transactions on Dependable and Secure Computing, and the Journal of Information Security and Applications. He is a member of the IEEE Society, the IEEE Biometric Council, the IEEE Signal Processing Society, and the IEEE Computer Society.
