From Physical Models to Automated Simulation Experiments: Full Digital Twins Decision Support Pipeline Case Study
- Type:Master Thesis
- Supervisor:
Ohad Daniel
Prof. Sanja Lazarova-Molnar
Description
Problem:
Simulation experiments of Discrete event simulations often require iteration between simulation experts and decision-makers. While designing experiments of a physical system, simulation experts depend on input given by the decision-makers.
Goal:
The aim of this thesis is to enable decision-makers to design and execute simulation of their physical system without simulation expertise. The goal is to showcase an implementation of a full pipeline that starts from a physical system and outputs recommendations based on executed simulation experiments.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
- Modelling and simulation.
- Knowledge of Python programming language.
- Discrete event Simulation.
- Understanding of Digital Twin technology and its applications.
