Description

Problem:

Simulation experiments of Discrete event simulations often require iteration between simulation experts and decision-makers. While designing experiments of a physical system, simulation experts depend on input given by the decision-makers.

Goal:

The aim of this thesis is to enable decision-makers to design and execute simulation of their physical system without simulation expertise. The goal is to showcase an implementation of a full pipeline that starts from a physical system and outputs recommendations based on executed simulation experiments.

Required Skills and Knowledge:

  • Modelling and simulation.
  • Knowledge of Python programming language.
  • Discrete event Simulation.
  • Understanding of Digital Twin technology and its applications.
