Description
Problem: As sustainability and efficiency become central to manufacturing, minimizing energy waste is critical. Digital Twin technology offers strong potential for energy optimization; however, its implementation strategies and measurable impact on energy efficiency remain inconsistent and underexplored.
Goal: The objective of this thesis is to conduct an in-depth review of existing literature and case studies on the application of Digital Twins for enhancing energy efficiency in smart manufacturing systems. The study will identify key technologies, methodologies, and performance metrics, and will provide a comprehensive analysis of gaps and opportunities for future research and development in this area.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
- Research and analytical skills for conducting systematic literature reviews.
- Ability to assess and compare technical implementations and outcomes.
